Profile
I grew up here in Southern California and have always enjoyed art and design. I graduated in 1993 with a degree in architecture from the University of Southern California. After graduation I moved to New York City to pursue my dream of working as a designer and artist. After spending the next 12 years there, I managed to marry and have kids and decided to raise my kids back where I grew up. So, in 2005, I moved my family back to the O.C.
I've been fortunate to stay busy with work in design from the moment I got to New York and for the last 24 years. My first job was as Assistant Creative Director for a bag and accessories company working primarily with the sports licenses: NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL. This introduction to licensed product was where I cut my teeth in product development and branding. I gathered some co-workers and started my own design firm in 1995. We continued working in licensing, involved in over 1000 projects with Disney, Warner Brothers, Mattel and all the aforementioned sports licenses. Since leaving NY, I have maintained a number of East Coast clients with a majority of my work coming from King Features, Hearst Entertainment and Asics America. My last position was as Chief Design Officer for a social media platform helping Influencers monetize their followings.
Experience
I work primarily in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for the graphics and have become increasingly adept at creating Powerpoint presentations and layouts for company websites. My strength however lies more in communications and promotion of projects and ideas.
